With a background in community-based rehabilitation, Anthony enjoys supporting communities that have lost hope by addressing and alleviating the obstacles and attitudes that prevent social and economic empowerment. He is passionate about community transformation and an advocate for mindset behavioral change.

As a Program Officer at Geneva Global Uganda, Anthony plays a key role in providing continuous support to strengthen the design, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of the Speed School program. In this role, Anthony provides training and technical assistance to agents associated with the Ministry of Education and District Education Offices and other agents associated with the Gulu, Kitgum, and Loro Core Teacher College.

Prior to joining Geneva Global, Anthony served as a Program Officer with Child Right, a local organization based in Gulu focused on community rehabilitation focused on vulnerable children and youth. In 2017, Anthony joined the organization African Revival , one of Speed School’s implementing partners, and became a Speed School Coordinator. Anthony holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration from Gulu University, Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation from Kyambogo University and Certificate in Administrative Law from Law Development Centre.

 

What’s your favorite part of your job?

My favorite part of my job is the opportunity that I have had to see children that have lost hope be given a second chance to learn and thrive well in their community.

What brings you joy?

I find joy in experiencing community and society living in harmony and peaceful co-existence.
