Over the past decade, he has helped to design and oversee programs in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Uganda, and Kenya.
Alfred’s program experience covers multiple international development sectors, including agriculture, infant and maternal health, early childhood education, neglected tropical disease, and clean water and sanitation.
Previously, Alfred served as the southern Africa sub-regional coordinator for an international nonprofit organization, where he oversaw programs in 10 countries.
His career has also included working as a land resource specialist for the government of Malawi’s Ministry of Agriculture. Alfred holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from the University of Malawi.
