Alanna Casselle

Senior Associate

Alanna advises clients on the development and implementation of strategic programming and communication to advance philanthropic initiatives around the world. Her innate ability to help clients navigate complex issues, understand competing interests, and make tough decisions are essential skills that make her valuable to managing projects and partnerships.

In her current role, Alanna manages the external engagement strategy for a leading family foundation. She guides clients on content development, brand management, reputational risk, and relationship management. Additionally, she helped develop and scale a global initiative to incubate solutions to tackle health and development issues.

Alanna began her career teaching English as a second language abroad. Her interest in globalization, and its effects on local communities, led her to pursue a graduate degree at the School of International Service at American University. Alanna has worked on both long- and short-term projects in the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and Cuba, and brings over five years of education and project management experience to Geneva Global. In her most recent role, Alanna specialized in project management and digital marketing for clients in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. Alanna earned a BA in English from Howard University and a MA in Intercultural and International Communication from American University in Washington, DC. Outside of the office, Alanna enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, trying out new recipes, and growing her cookbook collection.
