Geneva Global Director of Programs, Mr. Abdechafi Boubkir, recently joined HundrED’s Advisory Board for the Spotlight on Gamified Curricula. In collaboration with Supercell, HundrEd created the Spotlight on Gamified Curricula to study and appreciate publicly this thematic area. The aim is to identify impactful and scalable education innovations that offer educational programs and courses designed to incorporate game elements and/or are structured like games for upper secondary school learners aged 16–25.
Geneva Global is delighted that one of our staff members is joining this Advisory Board to share his insights and help benefit these education innovations. Mr. Boubkir’s involvement extends Geneva Global’s visibility with HundrED, which has ensconced the Speed School initiative that we implement in Ethiopia and Uganda in its Hall of Fame, having been identified as a top-100 innovation in global education for five years running.
The HundrED Advisory Board is a specialist group of stakeholders in education from all over the world with the task of reviewing the innovations and providing a thorough insight into the submissions to help select winning applications. Being part of the HundrEd spotlight gives these innovations more visibility and solid connections to stakeholders all over the world.
