Focused on Results

Donors often raise concerns about the ethics and efficiency of organizations being considered for funding. Both aspects are crucial, but too often organizations’ true effectiveness escapes close scrutiny.

The best philanthropy produces measurable results. We want to see your investment yield solutions in clear, quantifiable ways. We assess the results of each project and compare them with the project’s initial goals. Then we report to you, explaining the direct Life Change impact your investment makes.

For instance, one project funded through Geneva Global aimed to help rural Hondurans rise from poverty by providing seed capital to entrepreneurs and agricultural training to farmers.

To collect hard evidence of Life Change, we set clear benchmarks for the project’s impact. How many families increased their household income, and by how much? How many children escaped malnutrition and disease? How many borrowers repaid startup loans? Records from community banks and health centers provided answers.

In this case, the project achieved six of its seven benchmarks. When organizations build a track record of effective Life Change, we can confidently recommend that their future projects be considered for investment.
