The Health for Africa Fund
Helping improve the health of millions across the African continent
Among the projects enabled by this Fund are those that provide income generating projects for families whose wage-earners have died of AIDS, like the woman pictured here, who now is the sole provider for five children and one grandchild.

Preventable and treatable diseases keep many impoverished families across the African continent from escaping the vicious cycle of poverty.
More than 2,000 African children die each day from malaria alone. More mothers die from birthrelated complications in sub-Saharan Africa than anywhere else in the world. This Fund seeks to address the underlying causes of preventable diseases, promotes access to basic health care and education, and creates opportunities for productive lives and communities.
Contributing to this Fund allows you to participate in various health initiatives in eight African countries, including: blindness prevention in Zambia; HIV prevention and care for AIDS patients in Malawi, a country with one of the continent’s highest infection rates; promotion of infant and maternal health care in Rwanda; and eradication and control of five neglected tropical diseases in Rwanda and Burundi that leave children sick and keep them out of school, and leave otherwise productive adults debilitated and disfigured. With your help, this Fund could vastly improve the lives of millions.
Minimum Investment: $5,000
